After the highly successful screening of Pandora’s Box last month at the Cube (we return with Behind the Door (1919) in February) you would have thought that we would have had enough of everything got to do with the film. Not at all!
It is Christmas after all and what better way to celebrate the season of ‘giving’ by giving all you silent film lot a chance to win a South West Silents Pandora’s Box Bundle!
Within the Bundle you will find a brand new copy of the UK DVD release of Pandora’s Box (the DVD also has the acclaimed documentary Looking for Lulu) as well as a brand new copy of the BFI Film Classics Books on Pandora’s Box, written by our good friend Pamela Hutchinson. (Tip: If you do want to buy yourself a copy then the BFI book is going rather cheap on Amazon at the moment!)
To be in with a chance to win, all you need to do is to answer this simple question:
After completing Pandora’s Box (1929) Louise Brooks and G. W. Pabst made their second and final film together. What was the name of that final film?
Simply email the answer to firstname.lastname@example.org with the answer in the subject header by the afternoon on Sunday 31st December 2017. The lucky winner will then be announced the week after and your items sent out.
And don’t forget about entering our Slapstick Festival 2018 Competition as well!
